A reminder that Chamberlain School District will have an early dismissal at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
We are also excited to welcome Mary Beth Holzwarth from the DCI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force back to CSD for an Internet Safety Parent/Community Night on Monday, November 2, at 5:15 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents and community members to learn more about keeping children safe online.

Financial Literacy in Action at CHS!
A huge THANK YOU to Maddy and Clarissa from First Interstate Bank for spending time with our Chamberlain High School students on Friday!
They shared valuable information about financial responsibility, including understanding credit scores, how credit scores impact loan interest rates, what makes a good or bad credit score, and the importance of managing money, budgeting, and balancing income with spending.
These are important real-world skills that will help our students make informed financial decisions as they prepare for life beyond high school.
We appreciate Maddy, Clarissa, and First Interstate Bank for investing their time in our students and helping prepare them for the future!

New this year — the Cubs Take-Home Calendar! 🐾 We’re excited to introduce a new resource designed to help keep our CSD families informed and connected throughout the school year!
Every CSD student will receive a monthly calendar packed with helpful district information, including the 2026–27 district calendar, schedules, staff directory, transportation and meal information, activities, policies, and more!
Elementary students will receive theirs from their teachers, middle school students will find one in their lockers, and high school students will receive one with Chromebook pickup.
If your family receives multiple Cubs Take-Home Calendars, keep one at home and one at work, put one in your student’s locker, or share one with a family member or friend!

Last week, staff from Chamberlain School District attended the Elevate. Educate. Empower. – Moving Literacy Forward Across South Dakota conference in Mitchell. The conference focused on the Science of Reading, an evidence-based approach to literacy instruction that helps all students become stronger readers through explicit teaching of foundational reading skills, language comprehension, and vocabulary development.
🎉 Join us on July 10th for the Hall of Fame Induction Banquet at the Chamberlain Community Center!
